We have been vacationing in Myrtle Beach for many years and own a condo here. Even though we love the area, the decision to sell our home in Virginia and relocate took a while.

Early on, we stopped by to look at Bill Clark Homes. We liked what we saw but like a lot of people, we continued to look everywhere... at other new home builder locations, as well as resales, short sales and foreclosures. Nothing came close to matching what we saw at Bill Clark Homes.

Thanks to our first and lasting impression, through sales agent, Dale Gambrell, we continued to come back. There is no doubt that her knowledge and professionalism in presenting the community, along with her continued pro-active contact and patience, resulted in our final decision to buy with you.

Dale's people skills in understanding personalities and knowing how to sell without being so pushy that it drives the potential buyer away, made all the difference. No matter what we needed, by phone or in person - regarding contracting, Dale and / or her boss (Broker) Trish were always available to help us. The same held true for Marjorie. Always friendly and quick to help - no matter how busy, whenever we called or stopped by the office. It was such a pleasure to work with all of them and it made the process so much easier!

We thank Jeff Farrell so much for all he did in designing and overseeing the building of our home. Thanks to his time and creativity, the redesign of the back of the Red Birch, with the bumped out rooms and screened porch is beautiful. One of our favorite features inside, is the incredible kitchen island he took the time to design for us. We love it! Outside, his design for the concrete deck, retention wall and fence resulted in our home looking like an elegant estate.

It is hard to express how much we appreciate Gail Farrell and everything she did for us. This is one of the few times I have been at a loss of words. Gail was our primary contact throughout this entire building experience and thanks to her, it was wonderful. Despite all of her other work, she patiently handled pages of our custom order requests (we probably set a record) providing the necessary pricing and details to move forward. Each time we had a concern - no matter what the issue, she was there to make certain it was quickly resolved.

Thanks to Gail and Jeff, we were able to have the pool, concrete decking, retention wall and fence installed, not to mention the propane tank, while the house was being built - oh, and the house re-painted in our desired colors, as we were going to closing unbelievable!

If all of this is not enough, Gail's exquisite taste and design vision are second to none. From floor to ceiling and everything in between, our house is beautiful. She selected lights, fans, mantles, knobs and cabinet handles that are incredible and by far exceeded our expectations. We just can not say enough about Gail. She is first class and you are beyond lucky to have her at Bill Clark Homes.

Will Weaver was also terrific. His dedication and attention to detail in constantly overseeing the building of our home, while juggling so many other projects was amazing. He went out of his way, above & beyond for us, keeping us informed every step of the way. Will's ability to successfully manage it all, did not go unnoticed... the huge, granite, kitchen island, the installation of the pool, the fence and the overall quality of the construction of the house, are just a few examples of his many incredible accomplishments. Thanks to all of his hard work, our home is simply, beautiful. We can not thank him enough.

This experience reminds me of the Academy Awards, only for the "Best Builder" and "Best House of the Year". Like all award winners, there is a large supporting cast. Too name a few, Trish, Dale, Jeff, Gale, Will, Tony and Marjorie. I wish we could mention everyone - there were so many behind the scenes people too. They all played a role and they all deserve an award. We appreciate them so much!

I wanted to take this opportunity to personally thank you for your help, assistance and expertise in making our home at Surfside Beach Club a "dream home." Several years ago, my husband and I decided we would like to purchase a vacation home at Myrtle Beach. It has been a place we have travled to for the past 30 years with our family and friends. We kept coming back because it provided us with the retreat we needed amidst our very busy life. There is nothing more calming or relaxing than the sun and sand!

For the past several years we have been visiting various communities and housing developments in the Myrtle Beach are, trying to find the perfect place. Throughout the process we kept returning to Surfside Beach Club. There was something about that particular development that made us feel at home. The people, floor plans and home sites were perfect for our life style, and to make our story short, we ultimately built our home there, which was completed in December 2009. Without going into too much detail, I just want to say that Bill Clark Homes was the best company to work with in every possible way. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation!

Since we are vacation homeowners, I knew it was going to be a chore to try to furnish and decorate our new home. I often commented on our visits to Surfside Beach about how beautifully the model homes were decorated. Our Realtor, Jessica Hardee told us that the model homes were decorated by you, and that you had assisted many new homeowners with their decorating needs. When we met you, we knew we hit the jackpot! We felt comfortable leaving the decorating job to you. Everything is perfect, down to the smallest detail. The colors, the fabrics, the quality of the furniture and accessories were more than we could have ever imagined. You put together a masterpiece in record time. We will never forget the day we arrived to view the final product. When we opened the front door, there were no words to describe the beauty of our home. It is absolutely awesome. We cannot thank you enough. You are so talented and just amazing. Without a doubt you have saved us time, effort and money. Now all we have to do is open the door and enjoy.

I remember you telling us that you would design a home for us that we wouldn't want to leave. Those words were never more truly spoken.

Dear Bill Clark Homes,

Almost four years ago my brother, O'Neal Miller, his wife, Rhonda and my husband Warren and I met with you to discuss buying a home at Savannah Park. We had chosen our lots only to be told that you had no house plans that would fit on the lot but that you would help us design a house.

From the day we first walked into Bill Clark's office until today after having lived in our home for two years we have been extremely pleased with our entire experience.

We worked with Chad Shraeder over several months and many, many revisions to come up with our house plan. So often as I walk through our home I think of the patience and professionalism Chad exhibited in every meeting in making our home everything we wanted

Nothing in this world is perfect and that includes a new home. My philosophy in business has always been, "Everyone makes mistakes; it is how you handle they handle the mistakes that makes the difference." We have had a few issues since moving in and between Marjorie Lanier and Tony Waters I believe they can handle just about anything. There have been a couple of warranty people that I thought did not Bill Clark standards, and though I never complained I would find they were not there the next time I called. I have learned just to call Tony because he will either get it done or do it himself. He is absolutely remarkable!

In December of 2007 I began working with Santee Cooper to try and get a Good Sense Rating. I was instructed upfront it was almost impossible after construction was completed to get a New Home Good Sense Rating. We did upgrade to Low E windowns but the deciding factor really was the HVAC company Bill Clark chose. Our home met the rigid standards with Bill Clark's normal building Procedures!!! Santee Cooper just gave us a credit of almost $600 and we will continue to save every month.

I am not a construction expert, but I heard many of them testify in legal proceedings for 20 plus years in my prior profession as a court reporter. I am also a real estate broker and feel I am more knowledgeable perhaps than your average customer and again my husband and I are very pleased.

There was another builder in our neighborhood and all to often I hear complaints from our neighbors about their shoddy construction practices. I always say the same thing with great pride - "We're all very satisfied." My brother and his wife also love their home and we are so pleased with everything

As a real estate broker, I represented my brother and his wife and my husband and myself in the actual real estate transaction and it was an absolute joy to work with Kathy Smith with Prudential.

I deliberately have waited these two years to express my gratitude to you and the Bill Clark organization because I will never endorse anything until I know it's right.

My wife and I bought a villa at Lauderdale Bay in August of 2007. I just want you and your company to know how pleased we are with our new home. As you would expect we have had several small issues, but all were taken care of promptly. Gail Farrell has given us several suggestions for painters and tile installers, for some extra items we would like to do.

 We had the time when looking for our second home and looked at properties from Pawleys Island to Sunset Beach. We found nothing that compares to Lauderdale Bay. The views of the waterway and Arrowhead Golf courses are just outstanding. The floor plans at the Grand Dunes don’t compare to our villa and the selling prices at Grand Dunes were much more.

I know you have more villas to sell, but please don’t give up on Lauderdale Bay. When the market turns around, I know these units will be the first to sell and we are looking forward to your company building more villas at Lauderdale Bay.

 My wife and I purchased our home in December of 2006. We both are very happy and blessed living here at Surfside Beach Club. Any concerns we have had have been dealt with in record time and very well done to our satisfaction. This is our first new home and we have no regrets. We like the style, high ceilings, crown molding that sweep through the house. I like the large garage and the up-grades that were included in the original price without up-grading the price. That is always a plus. We chose the style with the privacy wall for that reason. It is especially nice looking out the back of the house to see and hear the water from every window in the back, not to mention the beautiful sunsets. Also, to add to the beauty of the landscape, being able to enjoy the wildlife, swans & ducks is great. We also have been impressed with the landscaping done that is included with the purchase of the house.

If all this isn't enough the club house, weight room and pool are exceptional. My wife is taking advantage of the expertise of Amy Widdifield an employee of Bill Clark Homes who is working with residents with exercises, stretches, walks, weights, etc. to help in the wellness of the residents that wish to take advantage of this great program available at no charge to the residents. With that being said, she hasn't had to visit the chiropractor yet this year. Yea. A lot more events are available now through the club house, which also is great for all of us to get together and know more of our neighbors. We are from all over the country it seems, which is great.

Great neighbors make our life even easier. We all seem to take a lot of pride in the appearance of our property. We also like being so close to the beach. Pool, beach, sunshine, what more could you ask for. The location between both 17's is great, very close to just about everything you might want.

You get what you pay for here, you can't say that about all builders.

We have been married almost 45 years. During that time we have rented, bought a few and have had three new homes built from scratch. We can say without hesitation the experience we had with Bill Clark homes and your staff is the best by far. From the start, when we talked with Don Woolf and Pat Mahoney, everything was organized and planned to make the process "user friendly" for us the buyers. We were very impressed with the quality of the workmanship to be found in a "production built" home. The way we were able to make changes and pick items makes it more like a custom built home.

We met Nita Phillips to discuss colors, carpets and other things. Actually, she and my wife did most of the talking. I just listened and occasionally said yes or no at the proper times. If you are married you can fully understand what I mean! Nita was very helpful and spetn a good deal of time with us, which was greatly appreciated.

Then we were introduced to Jim Farson. Jim is number one in our book. He was very patient with us and made sure we were happy with the way things were going. I could see he is under constant pressure from all sides, but he handles it well. The walk through was conducted by Tom Blake, a very conscientious, knowledgeable and thorough man.

We have talked on the phone with Samantha and Judy and both are very well versed in their respective jobs. There are probably many more people behind the scenes we haven't met that by working together made the completion of our "custom built" Bill Clark Home a reality. You should be very proud of your staff and the professionalism displayed on a daily basis. It has been our experience that the people in your organization can make or break the company. With people such as these your company will continue to prosper.

Our experience with Bill Clark Homes and their employees has been nothing less than exceptional. From the moment we walked into the sales office we were treated with respect, professionalism and true Carolina hospitality. We both felt at ease especially making a move to purchase a second home. It was a large decision and after being shown all of the spec homes we knew this was the place we wanted to retire. We never even looked anywhere else. While we were processing paper work I was shown the model homes. To my amazment the interior decorating left me speechless. I made mention of this fact to our salesman who then told me about Gail and her many gifts. Her talent had me blown away and I was given the opportunity to meet with her the following day. At that meeting I was offered a chance to have her decorate our entire house and without hesitation we both agreed.

After discussing a few details I left our entire home in her hands. We then left to return to New Jersey and she did the entire home in 5 weeks without us seeing anything. Upon our return to handle the closing of the property we were given a personal tour of her magic. We loved everything she had done and she took great pride in the end result. We have now owned the house for eight months and still pause with amazement every time we open the door. It is just spectacular.

I wanted to write you a special letter even though I mentioned the person to you. Surely you know what you have in Kenny Shingleton. When time was running out and he was called in, he jumped on the job and wrapped it up in a fine way. He is very positive, a good customer relations man, willing to do whatever and whenever to get the job done.

The first day I met with him, he introduced himself and we walked through to make sure he had all the information he needed to do his job. He worked on a Saturday that week, which allowed me to close in a more reasonable time.

So often, you know your people are out doing the job, but he is one of those "above and beyonders". He is good for your company.
