According to Parade Magazine's May 3, 2009 edition, Fayetteville is one of the hottest real estate markets in the country, despite a mostly cold real estate environment. Zillow.com, a website that tracks national real estate sales and values, said that Cumberland and Hoke Counties led the nation in real estate values, with the median house price rising 14.1 percent from a year before. This is miles ahead of the next best market in Oklahoma City, where home values increased 5.1 percent. This increase in real estate values is the complete opposite of the national values which fell 14.2 percent in the last year. With so many signs that the Fayetteville real estate market is back on the rise – it's a GREAT time to buy a new home!
